PersonalisedPIN - PIN Selection & Authentication
The MillenTech PersonalisedPIN solution provides an easy, convenient and simple
Customer Select PIN (CSP) system that can be effortlessly interfaced into by a
financial institution. A CSP system allows cardholders of a financial institution
to securely select a PIN for their magnetic stripe and EMV cards.
The CSP system has a range of operations that includes PIN authentication and assisting
in the instant issue of cards. Cardholders, who have been instantly issued a new
card, can walk out of the branch with a card that can be used immediately.
The in-branch MillenTech PersonalisedPIN solution requires tellers to engage with
customers, and provides opportunities to cross-sell other products and services.
By offering personal and friendly service, revenue streams can be grown. Tellers
can also educate customers in the secure use of their cards, and highlight
precautionary measures, e.g. PIN shielding at POS terminals and ATMS,
to reduce fraud.
It is a well known fact that customers who select their own PIN are less likely to
forget their PIN, which reduces the customer support and re-issuance costs for your
organisation. Re-issuance of forgotten PINs or lost cards must be carried internal to the branch.
PersonalisedPIN is getting an upgrade! Several components of PersonalisedPIN solution are
being upgraded to the latest design and technology. The aim of the upgrade is to add improvements
to sectors of the system to increase its overall ergonomics/design and usability.
1. New DC420 Version 2 Controller
The new model replaces the DC420 Controller with the latest design and technology.
The DC420 V2 Controller comes with the latest software release, faster CPU, larger
memory and features. The software release will receive easier updates going forward.
New TS-7400-V2 Board SPECS:
|•||8-28VDC voltage power regulator|
|•||4 x USB 2.0 1000mA ports (each USB has 2 x the standard 500mA). Adds the capability to power devices devices directly|
|•||2 x RJ45 RS232 serial interface ports|

2. New IS380 Display
This improvement replaces the previous LCD display model for the IS380 Secure Card Encoder.
The new display is specially stylised and designed for the IS380 exterior and can be attached
or removed as needed. It provides full functional feedback to the operator
of the application + customer actions.
3. New single power supply, power splitter and DC power cables
This new arrangement centralises the power supply for the IS380, DC420 Controller and PINpads (optional).
This replaces current equipment power supply units and related cable e.g the IS380 Interface Cable.
Minimising the number of power supply plug-top units for the full system provides a huge advantage.
4. New USB hub and USB cables for the IS380 Encoder and IS380 Display
These cables allow for simple set-up of the IS380 Encoder and display unit. The IS380 Display receives
power through the USB connection in this arrangement, replacing the extra IS380 Interface cable connection.
